From both ends of the same container.
Ragtrail started with a simple observation from people who had worked both ends of the trade: a charity in the UK and a sorting house in Karachi were each paying intermediaries to vouch for someone they could have verified themselves.
We started with the buyers, signing verified, duty-compliant sorting houses to written specifications, because trustworthy demand was the scarce side. Then we moved the first containers by hand, and wrote down every rule we had to invent along the way. That set of rules is now the Ragtrail KYB standard.
A small team, on the ground at both ends.
Four desks run every trade, from the supplier's yard to the buyer's sort floor. You always have a named contact; call or WhatsApp the trade desk any time.

Four commitments we hold ourselves to.
We say what we don't know
Where a rule is under review, we say so. We don't present a debate as settled.
We don't take both sides' money quietly
Our fee is one line on one invoice. If that ever changes, it changes in writing first.
We go and look
Yards and sort floors are visited, not described to us.
We put it in writing
Specs, evidence, claims and decisions, so either side can hold us to them.
